Job Overview

Position Summary:

Oversee, guide, and manage the execution of designated projects, ensuring that all financial and scheduling objectives are met while maintaining effective communication between staff and clients. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at delivering successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance relationships with vendors and suppliers through professional negotiation practices that align with company principles.
  • Coordinate the efforts of project team members to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Develop comprehensive budgets to facilitate analytics and enhance client comprehension.
  • Evaluate and negotiate vendor bids to secure optimal pricing, quality, and service in accordance with project specifications.
  • Provide clients with insights on product suitability and offer informed recommendations.
  • Establish advantageous credit terms with suppliers on behalf of clients.
  • Supervise the entry of specifications, requests for quotes, purchase orders, and expedite processes.
  • Monitor project status reports, adjusting schedules or plans as necessary, and keep clients informed.
  • Conduct funding reviews in collaboration with clients and accounting teams.
  • Manage invoice tracking and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Lead project evaluations, including discussions on lessons learned.
  • Set and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Travel to various project sites and client locations for initial meetings and reviews as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A results-driven professional with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, representing the company and project team effectively.
  • Experience in purchasing or design roles.
  • Background in the hospitality or food and beverage sectors.
  • Knowledge of OS&E products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Able to handle several projects concurrently.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience (minimum of five years).
  • Relevant experience in the hospitality or food and beverage industries.
