Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive Regional Program Manager to oversee a remote team within our Benefits Verification division. Reporting directly to the Area Director, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of work products and customer service, ensuring adherence to company standards during the annual benefits reverification process. This role encompasses the management of both permanent and temporary personnel, along with the coordination of recruitment and training initiatives, all while upholding exceptional customer service and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a remote team comprising Supervisors, Team Leads, and Reimbursement Specialists.
- Manage the benefits reverification process, ensuring that objectives are achieved and quality standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with senior management to enhance best practices and drive project success.
- Provide insights on key performance indicators and address complex reimbursement issues.
- Engage in customer management and market development activities, including regular management discussions and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years in a supervisory or management capacity within medical insurance or healthcare reimbursement.
- Experience in managing remote teams is highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement processes, including benefits investigations, billing, and appeals.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in practice management is preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong organizational skills.
Additional Information:
- Flexibility in schedule and hours is required.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for team meetings and project-related activities.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations is essential.
- This contract position provides an opportunity to significantly impact patient support services while working in a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.
Location: Remote, candidates must reside in Florida, Texas, or North Carolina.
