THE TEAM
The Digital Transformation Office collaborates with Engineering and cross-divisional leadership to propel our Firmwide Digital Strategy. This strategy is a cornerstone of the firm's One Goldman Sachs (OneGS) initiative, aimed at delivering comprehensive solutions to meet the diverse needs of clients seeking a broader range of products and services. We are committed to providing innovative technology and data solutions through seamless digital experiences across desktop, mobile, and application programming interfaces (APIs). ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Program Management Lead, you will oversee projects and initiatives focused on tooling and new offerings, ensuring our services are scalable to meet varied client demands. Your role will involve working backward from client needs to address technical challenges effectively. You will manage all facets of technical programs, engaging in every phase of the program lifecycle to ensure successful and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve objectives, key results, and milestones.
- Oversee end-to-end management of cross-functional programs, including roadmap development, resource allocation, and project execution.
- Make informed project decisions, achieving tactical goals while maintaining a strategic outlook.
- Consistently communicate OneGS updates to all key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, tracking key deliverables and progress.
- Create presentations and supporting documentation for various organizational levels.
- Gather stakeholder input and coordinate among multiple groups to define requirements.
- Exhibit self-direction and teamwork, driving high performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate results-oriented capabilities, managing multiple complex, time-sensitive projects with senior stakeholders and competing priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A successful candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in technical program management or a similar technical leadership role is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in technical product management, large-scale project management, and/or software development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of program management processes and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of addressing both technical and business audiences globally.
- Functional knowledge of business management capabilities (OKRs, program management, vendor management, financial planning, and analysis).
- Proficiency in major product management applications (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Adeptness in managing change while balancing strategic focus with tactical execution.
- Innovative and adaptable, with a talent for generating suggestions and ideas.
- A strong sense of detail and urgency, motivating others to deliver results.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
