Position Overview:
The License Compliance Sales Executives play a pivotal role in identifying, validating, and securing compliance leads across North America. Collaborating closely with the direct sales team, legal advisors, technical experts, and other compliance professionals, these representatives address compliance challenges. They generate their own leads while also exploring opportunities from sales teams, engaging with clients to resolve compliance concerns via phone.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will manage over 75 compliance opportunities simultaneously, requiring exceptional attention to detail, robust project management capabilities, and the ability to handle a substantial workload. Your passion for technology and customer engagement will be essential, as will your ability to navigate difficult conversations with professionalism.
- Demonstrate strong project management abilities.
- Utilize critical thinking to apply Siemens licensing policies to various customer software implementations and articulate non-compliance issues effectively.
- Initiate and respond to inbound and outbound calls targeting compliance.
- Maintain a minimum of 75 active opportunities quarterly.
- Encourage customers to engage in a self-audit process to uncover compliance opportunities.
- Present self-audit results and establish timelines for resolution with clients.
- Actively participate in negotiations regarding compliance agreements.
- Handle challenging discussions around compliance matters with tact.
- Stay informed about Siemens products, industry competition, and market trends.
- Engage with executives and key decision-makers in sales scenarios.
- Foster collaborative relationships with sales teams and partners to devise alternative solutions for compliance issues.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Utilize CRM tools (SFDC) and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint) effectively.
- Engage in cross-selling or upselling as appropriate, coordinating with field sales or resellers on opportunity management and strategy.
- Possess a solid understanding of software licensing frameworks, agreements, and contracts.
- Leverage SFDC for tracking leads, opportunities, and activities, providing visibility on sales efforts and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in software sales support, license compliance, inside sales, or maintenance/service renewals.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in internet applications, SFDC, email, and Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Prior experience in license compliance, inside sales, or renewals is advantageous.
- Familiarity with software licensing models and contractual agreements.
- Experience engaging with executives and key stakeholders in sales or collections contexts.
