License Compliance Sales Representative

About the Role:
The License Compliance Sales Representative will be responsible for finding, validating, and closing License Compliance leads in North America. This role will work closely with the Siemens direct sales team, legal, technical specialists, and other members of the License Compliance team on compliance matters. The successful candidate will develop their own leads as well as investigate leads from sales teams, work with customers on resolving compliance issues via telephone, and manage accounts across various vertical markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a high-volume workload of compliance opportunities, ensuring timely resolution and meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas.
- Apply critical thinking skills to apply Siemens licensing rules to various customers' software deployments and explain the reasoning to customers.
- Drive inbound calls and conduct outbound calls on compliance targets, engaging customers in a compliance self-audit process to develop compliance opportunities.
- Present self-audit findings and set timelines for resolution with customers, maintaining a collaborative relationship with vertical sales teams and partners.
- Handle unpopular or impassioned discussions and negotiations around non-compliance matters, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Maintain basic knowledge of Siemens products, competition, and industry trends, as well as understanding project delivery methods.
- Previous experience dealing with principles, owners, and executives in sales situations is preferred.
- Pro-actively establish collaborative relationships with vertical sales teams and partners, engaging them with compliance customers to assemble alternate proposals to resolve compliance issues.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and CRM tools (SFDC), as well as collaboration tools (Teams and SharePoint).
- Responsible for cross-selling or up-selling as appropriate, working with field sales staff or resellers to manage opportunities, account resource allocation, account strategy, and closing sales.
- Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements, and contracts is essential.
- Uses SFDC to track lead, opportunities, activities, and results, updating field sales on results and generating visibility on call activity and lead tracking for sales and marketing effectiveness reports.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in software Sales Support, License Compliance, Inside Sales, or Maintenance/Service Renewals.
- Strong SalesForce.com skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in English (writing, reading, and conversation).
- Works both independently and in team environments, managing multiple priorities and highly proficient in computer skills, including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business Management or related degree.
- Previous License Compliance, Inside Sales, or Renewals experience is a plus.
- Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements, and contracts.
- Previous experience dealing with principles, owners, and executives in sales situations and/or collections.

Compensation and Benefits:
The total cash compensation range for this position is $101,700 to $203,400, with 30% comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO, and non-accrued flexible vacation.
