Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Residence Inn Concord, a Colwen Hotels Property. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless stay experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Process guest arrivals, assign rooms, and handle check-in and check-out procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and professional welcome to all guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve guest complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, ensure prompt delivery of billing, and process all payments types.
  • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with Housekeeping Department to track room readiness and communicate guest requests and concerns.
  • Hotel Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, rates, discounts, special offers, and community events.
  • Confidentiality: Discreetly handle confidential guest information.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of related experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual - English/Spanish.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Superior interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to deal with difficult guests.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and common computer software programs.
  • Availability: Willingness to work 7-day rotational work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
