JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator will oversee and implement marketing and promotional strategies for the Association of Academic Museums & Galleries. This role involves the creation and production of visual content for promotional initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and execute marketing campaigns and create graphics for promotional materials related to exhibitions.
2. Collaborate with curators to establish branding for exhibitions and design informative materials such as brochures and wall panels using Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Coordinate photography for exhibition setups to enhance marketing efforts.
4. Manage email marketing campaigns, including content creation and audience segmentation through the Mail Chimp platform.
5. Regularly update and maintain the organization's website and social media platforms.
6. Create graphics for various print materials, including signage and event promotions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s branding.
7. Supervise the production of marketing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and design.
8. Build and maintain relationships with media contacts to enhance coverage of museum events.
9. Draft and distribute press releases in collaboration with institutional communications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Art, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in marketing or communications.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in developing and managing marketing plans.
- Proven ability to write and edit promotional content effectively.
