Marketing Coordinator Position Overview

Role Summary:

We are in search of a detail-oriented and adaptable Marketing Coordinator to enhance our marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a broad skill set in marketing and experience in managing various digital assets. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the marketing team in executing comprehensive strategies aimed at boosting brand visibility, ensuring accurate product information, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Support daily marketing operations to ensure effective execution of various activities.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of marketing materials, including brochures and promotional content.
  • Apply basic graphic design skills to generate visual content for both digital and print platforms.
  • Maintain organized marketing calendars, project timelines, and budget oversight.
  • Manage and catalog marketing resources and assets efficiently.
  • Assist in the production and layout of marketing collateral, including promotional materials.
  • Coordinate logistics and prepare materials for marketing events.
  • Digital Marketing Focus:
  • Work collaboratively with the web team and creative agencies to implement content updates, ensuring cohesive website design.
  • Regularly verify that all product and sustainability information on the company website is accurate and current.
  • Update website content, including product descriptions, images, and specifications.
  • Coordinate digital marketing components to align with social media and sustainability efforts.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing support capacity, ideally within the commercial flooring or building materials sectors.
  • Fundamental understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Basic proficiency in digital marketing tools, software, and social media platforms.
  • Basic graphic design skills with familiarity in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
  • Work Environment:
  • This position is primarily office-based, requiring the ability to navigate the office space. The role involves regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and reaching. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
