Job Summary

AC Hotel by Marriott Grand Rapids is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage guest registrations, room assignments, and special requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel operations, room rates, packages, and promotions to provide guests with personalized recommendations and offers.
  • Utilize our property management system to efficiently manage guest reservations, billing, and other front desk functions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient front desk operation, maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
