Job Summary

To provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive experience for our hotel guests. This role involves attending to the needs of guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage guest registration and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process transactions and handle cash handling procedures according to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with daily hotel operations, including changes, new procedures, and events.
  • Be knowledgeable about room rates, packages, discounts, and promotions, and be able to handle each effectively.
  • Assist guests with problems and questions, ensuring that all guest problems are resolved using brand-specific problem resolution guidelines.
  • Collaborate with fellow associates to improve daily operations and provide exceptional guest service.
  • Be aware of current guest service scores and understand guest comments and needs, actively participating in achieving the GSS goals of the hotel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including operating hotel reservations software and utilizing spare time for cleaning and maintaining the front desk and back office area.
Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent walking, standing, and grasping, as well as occasional climbing stairs, reaching, and pushing/pulling. The ability to lift and carry up to 50+ pounds is also required.

Notice

The hotel business operates 24/7, and it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shifts to conform to the demands of the hotel and our guests. All employees are required to fully comply with all rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities.
