Part Time Administrative Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Administrative Assistant to support a senior faculty member in a higher education setting.

This is a temporary to permanent position with a 3–4-month temporary window before converting permanently. The role will also be part time when it becomes permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage correspondence workflow for endowed professorship.
  • Monitor department email accounts for related action items.
  • Draft congratulatory letters and email correspondence for faculty members.
  • Manage active record documentation logistics.
  • Organize external outreach for faculty awards and obtain documentation for faculty file.
  • Complete detailed clean-up projects methodically.
  • Maintain records on status of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate communication with faculty and arrange for deliveries.
  • Track status of all outreach and distribution for departmental reference.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of administrative support experience, preferably supporting a faculty member or senior staff member.
  • Open to feedback and adaptable to new environments.
  • Strong administrative experience in calendar management and scheduling.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.
