Position Summary:

The IT Support Specialist is a vital component of our operational framework, ensuring that all computer hardware and software systems function seamlessly. This role demands advanced technical skills, alongside the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding time management capabilities, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and a readiness to adapt to new technologies and systems as needed.

This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence during standard business hours, with potential for overtime, including weekends.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical assistance and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain inventory of IT equipment.
  • Administer user accounts and manage access permissions.
  • Facilitate the relocation of equipment as necessary.
  • Prepare workspaces for new employees.
  • Oversee the phone system and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Update and maintain computer hardware and software systems.
  • Monitor programs and provide updates on user statuses.
  • Assist in the creation of procedural documentation for IT processes.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SQL Database management.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytical tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the 8×8 phone system is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years in Desktop Support roles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and time management.
  • High adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems quickly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company information.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience. BOSS Facility Services offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
