About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Oncology Sales team at Myriad Genetics. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the oncology market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Sell our molecular diagnostic tests to oncologists and other healthcare providers in your assigned territory, providing education on our science, research, test results, and interpretation.
  • Relationship Building: Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in oncology medicine and other key healthcare professionals.
  • Training and Education: Provide in-service training to clinical practice office staff and work with local phlebotomy providers to streamline specimen acquisition.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and facilitate partnerships with pathology labs and deliver local talks, arrange peer-to-peer programs, and drive brand advocacy.
  • Market Analysis and Planning: Utilize Territory Planning Tools for strategy and planning, including target accounts, frequency of calls, and Salesforce management.
  • Commercial Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities for growth within a specific region or geography.
Requirements
  • Education: BS/BA degree required, ideally in a related field of study.
  • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience in biotech, biopharma, molecular diagnostics, or capital equipment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the oncology space is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in-depth product knowledge, and a consultative sales approach.
  • Personal Qualities: Proven ability to manage increasing responsibility, sustain growth, and demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
