Job Title: Sales Support Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Representative to join our team at ICU Medical, a leading provider of innovative medical devices. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Sales Representatives and Region Managers, providing critical support to the Sales function.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to Alternate Site customer base, maintaining communication and resolving customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the sales cycle from initial inquiry to close of business, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolution of customer needs.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customer base in collaboration with the Sales team, identifying new sales opportunities and driving business growth.
  • Manage inbound inquiries, providing product information, marketing materials, and samples to prospects, and working closely with authorized Distributors' Inside Sales Departments to provide product solutions and price quotes.
  • Generate new sales opportunities from phone and email inquiries, and provide technical support and maintain a strong level of product and competitor knowledge.
  • Direct communication with distributors, distributor representatives, and end-users to maximize sales efficiency, and manage ICU Website inquiries related to sales opportunities.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with territory management, including sales reports, research, and discrepancies, and coordinate the gathering and dissemination of sales forecast/pipeline data, wins/losses for IKAP database.
  • Generate and submit sales documentation for Sales Representatives (Quotes, Relationship Forms, GPO lookup), and provide weekly reporting for high-priority or high-visibility items.
  • Manage vendor credentialing process with various credentialing companies, and support and perform special projects for corporate accounts and IDNs.
  • Act as liaison for internal and external sales communication, and provide exceptional customer service and support to Alternate Site customer base.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, with a High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years' experience in sales; preferably in the medical device industry.
Work Environment:
  • This is a largely sedentary role, operating in a professional office environment and routinely using standard office equipment.
  • Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time.
