Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for executing the yearly sales growth target for construction, aggregates, and industrial customers within assigned territory. This role requires strong collaboration with various Kimball Equipment resources to develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve growth targets for spares and wears sales within assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with inside sales and local resources to analyze market potential and develop business strategies to drive market share growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at every organizational level to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to support pricing strategies and drive business growth within assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain a positive company image by providing exceptional customer service, professional business attitude, and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Identify new equipment opportunities and forward details to the Equipment Sales team for follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain a personal portfolio of technical sales materials to support customers and promote products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the aggregates processing equipment industry or related spares, wears, and repair business.
  • Ability to travel frequently, with occasional overnight travel to remote areas.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, with a bias for action and attention to detail.
  • High level of computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to climb structures, stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and inspect equipment for failure and process analysis.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
