The Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring smooth shifts, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving the restaurant's objectives. The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in daily operations and guide the team during shifts. Key Responsibilities

  • Delegate tasks effectively to shift leaders and team members to meet service goals.
  • Oversee operations with enthusiasm, integrity, and expertise while fostering the company's culture and principles.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members, continuously evaluating performance.
  • Enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring high service standards and engaging with customers to meet their needs.
  • Manage restaurant operations to maintain or exceed food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Regularly monitor product and labor costs to stay within budgetary targets.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling and safety protocols.
  • Develop innovative solutions for operational improvements.
  • Assist in various restaurant areas as needed during staffing shortages.
  • Ensure food quality and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Promote teamwork and foster a positive customer experience.
  • Monitor food waste and manage inventory levels effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior experience in restaurant management is required.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
  • Capability to work in a high-temperature kitchen for extended periods.
  • Completion of training in all restaurant operational areas.
  • Ability to take direction and assign responsibilities effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
