Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager is one of the most important positions in our stores. They are responsible for running great shifts, taking great care of customers, working towards the store’s goals, assisting the General Manager in operations, and leading the rest of the Team on shift. The Assistant Manager must abide by all policies and uphold our brand expectations and be an example for staff. You must demonstrate leadership experience and want to be invested into, must recognize, and seize the opportunity to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities

·         Identify and delegate responsibilities to shift leaders and staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.

·         Manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the company's culture and values.

·         Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on an ongoing basis.

·         Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.

·         Manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

·         Consistently monitor product and labor costs to remain within goals.

·         Follow company policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security.

·         Develop and implement creative solutions to areas of improvement.

·         Assist in any areas of the restaurant when staffing constraints are required.

·         Ensured the quality and safety of food

·         Kept the kitchen clean, organized and well stocked

·         Train and develop crew members

·         Promote teamwork and create a great customer experience

·         Monitor food waste and inventory levels

·         Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized

·         Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment and utensils and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials.

·         Manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of Brick Oven

·         Implement new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous Experience: Prior Restaurant and Management Experience

• Must have reliable transportation

• Able to lift minimum of 60 lbs.

• Able to work in a high-temperature kitchen for an extended period of time

• Completed training in all areas of restaurant

• Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities

• Able to work in a fast paced environment
