Sales Director of Laboratory Supplies

Job Summary:
The Sales Director of Laboratory Supplies will lead a team of sales professionals in delivering revenue growth and market share expansion for Thomas Scientific's laboratory products.
About the Role:
This is a leadership position responsible for driving business results through strategic planning, sales execution, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with experience in managing high-performing teams and driving revenue growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue growth targets
- Lead a team of 10-15 sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet their sales targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to drive business results
- Manage customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and growing existing accounts
- Develop and maintain sales processes, ensuring effective data collection and analysis
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance metrics to stakeholders
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize sales efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of success
- Successful experience building and growing a sales team, with a focus on developing high-performing teams
- Experience in the laboratory supplies industry, with knowledge of scientific laboratory equipment and reagents
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
