Patient Care Scheduling Specialist

Position Overview
The Medical Imaging Scheduler plays a crucial role in facilitating a variety of routine to moderately complex administrative tasks related to medical imaging services. This position requires the ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities, especially during peak times.

Essential Qualifications:
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution with a focus on healthcare is preferred, or a minimum of six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Medical Terminology or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course within six months of employment.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., physician's office, scheduling role, etc.).
- Proficient in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations.
- Experience in medical imaging is advantageous.
