With a focus on sourcing talent for patient support, field/inside sales, medical device assistance, clinical support, and medical affairs, our CSMS division comprises over 10,000 field professionals across more than 30 countries addressing the needs of healthcare providers and patients.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a fully remote (work from home) Patient Care Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide financial assistance solutions such as co-pay cards or vouchers. The Patient Care Support Specialist will primarily handle inquiries related to: card activation, program eligibility, explanation of program benefits, and troubleshooting submission rejections. This position will be a contract role managed by an external agency, with the potential for conversion to a full-time IQVIA employee.

Role Purpose:
  • Serve as the primary contact for patients, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals utilizing an Opus Health program. The Patient Care Support Specialist is responsible for addressing inquiries such as: card activation, program eligibility, explanation of program benefits, and troubleshooting submission rejections.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide initial support for customer inquiries via telephone, email, fax, or other available communication methods to the Support Center.
  • Quickly assess the user's issue and deliver first-level support for problem resolution.
  • Document information pertinent to the resolution and escalate unresolved issues promptly to the appropriate department.
  • Identify operational challenges and propose recommendations to management as necessary.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (two shifts: 8:30 am EST - 5:30 pm EST or 11:00 am EST - 8:00 pm EST) under moderate supervision.
Minimum Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • HIPAA certification.
  • Call center experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience in medical claim processing is advantageous.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
The pay range for this role is $18.00 per hour.

The potential base pay range for this role is $18.00 per hour.
