Job Summary

The Sr. Relationship Sales Manager/Relationship Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business sales opportunities, retaining business, and expanding existing relationships and sales with gas channel partners and customers. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow business with existing and new channel partners and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and customers through consistent and efficient processes.
  • Use active listening and question-based sales techniques to assess needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the team and across functions to share best practices and resolve customer issues.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a 4-year degree).
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks.
  • Self-motivated, with a sense of urgency and proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience in Energy Markets.
  • Experience with various gas products within the energy industry.
