Senior Sales Manager Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and maximizing sales occupancy at our hotel. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales Marketing, this leader is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to increase room sales and generate business through aggressive sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with hotel operations to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
  • Provide daily support to Sales Managers and contribute to the development of the strategic plan
  • Support the Director of Sales Marketing in driving revenue results
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a high-performing Sales Manager or 5+ years in related sales roles
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent sales skills, with the ability to know and sell the hotel in a professional and courteous manner
  • Proven creative thinking to win business
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite products and sales systems
  • Ability to work varying schedules and maintain excellent relationships with staff, managers, corporate staff, and ownership
