Position Overview

The Colorectal Cancer Alliance stands as the foremost nonprofit organization dedicated to combating colorectal cancer. With a network of dedicated advocates, we focus on prevention, enhancing support, and accelerating research to eradicate this disease. We recognize the ongoing disparities in colorectal cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment affecting vulnerable populations. Our initiatives prioritize health equity, as we strive towards the ambitious goal of eliminating colorectal cancer in our lifetime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming volunteer applications, conduct interviews, and oversee onboarding documentation.
  • Offer support to volunteers and interns throughout their journey.
  • Assist in managing community partnerships, service days, and volunteer events.
  • Facilitate and lead informational sessions for new volunteers and interns.
  • Handle scheduling and meeting arrangements.
  • Engage in data-related projects.
  • Take notes during meetings and assist with various tasks as needed.

Compensation:

$17/hour

Reports to the Director of Volunteers
