Position Title: Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO)

Job Type: On-site, Full-time

Role Summary: The Chief Sales and Marketing Officer will spearhead the strategic direction of sales and marketing initiatives across all divisions of Smartwork IT Services. This leadership role is essential for fostering robust relationships and driving the company's marketing agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships while directing comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, focusing on product offerings, pricing structures, market placement, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee brand strategy, digital marketing campaigns, website management, social media presence, and customer engagement platforms.
  • Guide the sales and marketing team to ensure exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing a small team.
  • Proven ability to lead a sales and marketing team in a competitive landscape to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the commercial fuel and lubricants sector, particularly in petroleum wholesale marketing, is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, resilience, and collaborative sales experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the sales cycle with strong leadership capabilities and customer-centric focus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an awareness of local cultural nuances.
  • High emotional intelligence for effective team leadership and business development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functionalities, including Pivot tables, VLookup, IF functions, and macros.
  • Experience with CRM systems, databases, and petroleum back-office solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to take decisive action and deliver results efficiently, whether independently or through delegation.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and securing consensus.
  • Strong active listening skills with a commitment to understanding client needs.
  • Critical thinking, adaptability, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively, with excellent organizational and delegation skills.
