Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Business Expansion for our Commercial division plays a crucial role in advancing our rapidly growing business within large-scale enterprises. This position requires a strategic visionary who will leverage our impressive track record and solid existing contracts to drive new business initiatives and scale our growth efforts. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning:
- Formulate and implement growth strategies tailored to technology services in the commercial enterprise sector, focusing on Financial Services & Insurance (FS&I) and Healthcare industries.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Examine budget trends and priorities of target accounts.
- Utilize insights to refine and adapt growth strategies effectively.
- Lead and enhance business development initiatives, including networking, partnerships, and proposal submissions.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to cultivate relationships and secure contracts.
- Establish a robust pipeline to achieve growth targets consistently.
- Diversify accounts and foster growth within existing client relationships.
- Guide business development and capture teams in prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Continuously improve business development and proposal practices.
- Build, manage, and mentor a team focused on commercial sales, marketing, and client relations.
- Ensure team alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with client services and operations teams during proposal cycles.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to growth and ensure they are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the commercial division to executive leadership.
Experience:
- Extensive background in business development with a proven record of selling technology professional services to Fortune 1000 companies.
- Demonstrated sales leadership experience with a history of meeting sales targets.
- Successful track record in building a qualified pipeline valued over $150M.
- Experience managing capture efforts for both quick-turnaround task orders and larger contracts valued up to $100M.
- Familiarity with positioning and selling digital solutions using nearshore or offshore delivery teams.
- Ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team environment and assist in transforming a small business into a larger enterprise.
- Education: A degree in business, management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, strategic thinking, team management proficiency, and a deep understanding of professional services procurement processes.
- Network: Established connections within the FS&I and Healthcare sectors that can be leveraged for immediate business opportunities.
