A profound understanding of the cyber threat landscape, coupled with senior leadership experience, is essential for guiding organizations in making informed risk decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary representative for Information Security, fostering enthusiasm and ensuring the organization's preparedness to implement and sustain the security strategy.
  • Collaborate with the CIO and business stakeholders to define objectives and key results for the Information Security program, facilitating cross-functional teamwork.
  • Regularly refresh security objectives and key results in partnership with the CIO and initiative sponsors.
  • Engage with business partners and external stakeholders to instill confidence in the company's security posture through presentations and discussions.
  • Work alongside business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-value assets in cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Develop metrics-driven scorecards to keep executive stakeholders informed about cybersecurity health.
  • Provide strategic leadership by integrating shared visions and addressing interdependencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with IT leaders, compliance, and legal teams, as well as operating group leadership.
  • Lead a proficient Information Security team that ensures timely visibility and accountability.
  • Establish management routines to integrate workflows and proactively identify issues.
  • Guide change management and communication strategies to transition the organization to its desired state.
  • Oversee cybersecurity monitoring capabilities to ensure secure service delivery.
  • Develop Supply Chain Risk Management capabilities in line with federal standards.
  • Collaborate with technical leadership to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Steer the development of ASRC Federal's Zero Trust strategy.
  • Keep the Operational Leadership Team informed of progress and challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in information technology management.
  • 8+ years in IT security architecture, including network design and data protection technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity laws and compliance standards in the Civil Government and Defense sectors.
  • Proven ability to enhance security architecture and technologies to mitigate risks.
  • Experience operationalizing security controls in complex environments.
  • Strong technical guidance capabilities for architecture and engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving results and managing change.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to foster trust and inclusivity.
  • Executive presence and sound judgment in discussions and decision-making.
  • Strategic development skills with analytical thinking and influence.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Respected for strong business and technical judgment.

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a government background investigation.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred.
  • Experience in managing security programs during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Understanding of application and database security issues.
  • Knowledge of penetration testing and risk analysis techniques.
