About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Lead to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to internal and external customers in support of network and information security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement security requirements within an organization's business processes.
  • Prepare documentation from information obtained from customers using accepted guidelines such as the Risk Management Framework.
  • Prepare test plans and provide assessment and authorization (A&A) support in the development of security and contingency plans.
  • Conduct complex risk and vulnerability assessments and analyze policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations.
  • Develop and complete system security plans and contingency plans, and recommend system enhancements to improve security deficiencies.
  • Develop, test, and integrate computer and network security tools, and secure system configurations and install security tools.
  • Conduct security program audits and develop solutions to lessen identified risks, and develop strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements.
  • Provide information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements.
  • Evaluate, develop, and enhance security requirements, policy, and tools, and provide assistance in computer incident investigations.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, including development of risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • 5 years with BS/BA or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in performing Risk Management Framework activities.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in performing Project Management or Project Lead activities.
  • Demonstrated experience with performing STIG assessments, including using SCAP benchmarks.
  • Demonstrated experience performing vulnerability assessments with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution tool.
  • Demonstrated experience using STIG and eMASS.
  • Experience in developing Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) entries.
  • Experience in completing Risk Management Framework Step 5 authorizations in the Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) capacity.
  • Experience in communicating risk reduction recommendations to stakeholders.
  • IAT Level II Certification required.
  • Active secret clearance to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Current PMP CERT or the ability to obtain within 60 days of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
