Position Summary:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and enhancing future readiness. Your responsibilities will include streamlining the software development lifecycle and acting as a liaison to guarantee that customer needs are effectively communicated to vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
With minimal supervision, the Business Analyst will collaborate as part of an enterprise IT software development support team, focusing on project management and the implementation of software solutions and automation of business processes for clients. Key tasks include:

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements and project plans.
  • Coordinating daily tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards to meet client timelines.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure adherence to relevant policies.
  • Maintaining records of procedural changes and keeping team members informed.
  • Overseeing administrative reporting such as daily statistics and task narratives.
  • Facilitating project meetings and product demonstrations, ensuring project documentation is regularly updated.
  • Building and sustaining effective relationships with clients, end users, and other contractor teams.
  • Assisting with quality assurance, software testing, user training, and data validation.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of Information Technology (IT).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (Agile or Scrum methodologies).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management principles as outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or documenting system requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint or other collaboration tools.
  • Excellent technical writing skills are essential.
  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance/control.

Security Clearance Level:

  • Secret to start, must be able to obtain TS/SCI.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or PMP are desirable; ACP/CAPM is a plus.
  • Prior naval or Special Operations experience is highly valued.
