Role Summary

The Director of Talent Acquisition will serve as the primary representative of Vantaca to prospective candidates, embodying our values and vision. This role requires a dynamic individual with outstanding communication skills and a strategic mindset. The Director will lead our talent acquisition efforts, collaborating closely with hiring managers and the People + Culture team to meet organizational objectives while managing daily recruitment activities. This position involves crafting innovative recruitment strategies, particularly for challenging and high-impact roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract qualified candidates across various roles.
  • Utilize persuasive communication to highlight Vantaca's culture and growth opportunities to potential hires.
  • Manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient processes.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to potential candidates through various channels, including online platforms and networking events.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop accurate recruitment forecasts and stay informed about departmental vacancy trends.
  • Define candidate qualifications by creating detailed job descriptions and tailored screening criteria.
  • Evaluate candidates through comprehensive screening and interview processes.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates.
  • Work with the People + Culture team to facilitate smooth onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities within the HR information system.
  • Prepare and present recruitment metrics and reports as needed.
  • Enhance Vantaca's employer brand by networking with local leaders and participating in community events.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and results.
  • A degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • An advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is advantageous due to the business acumen required for this role.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruitment for various professional levels.
  • Proficiency in using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is essential.
