Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the planning and engineering efforts for wastewater infrastructure initiatives. This is an opportunity to engage with a mission-driven organization that values inclusivity, teamwork, and ambition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of design experts and technical staff.
  • Mentor and guide team members to enhance performance within project groups.
  • Participate in business development activities and collaborate on proposals and client engagement.
  • Assist senior engineers in managing project scope, budget, staffing, and timelines.
  • Conduct complex engineering design tasks for wastewater initiatives.
  • Monitor project design and construction to ensure compliance with budget and schedule.
  • Develop project management strategies and establish objectives for specific projects.
  • Implement quality assurance and control protocols across assigned projects.
  • Engage in the permitting process, especially for large-scale projects.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in project management, including research and understanding of regulatory issues.
  • Support revenue forecasting and manage proposal processes.

Qualifications:

Skills and Expertise:

  • Motivate project teams towards exceptional performance.
  • Facilitate discussions on employee satisfaction and provide continuous recognition and feedback.
  • Perform mass and energy balance calculations and process equipment sizing.
  • Comprehend jurisdictional codes, legal, and design standards.

Education and Experience:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, ideally in wastewater projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
