We are looking for a talented Senior Principal Level Software engineer to help us create the world's most advanced solutions in the area such as Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning and Electronic Attack for our defense related customers. Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address the ever-evolving challenges and threats to our nation's security and the war fighter.
You will be an integrated team member, with leadership opportunities, collaborating with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers in one or more of the phases of Project Planning, Requirements Development, Design, Development, Integration and Testing.
You will prepare design and project documentation intended to be used within complex programs or across sets of programs in accordance with established processes. We will provide you opportunities to learn, leverage our current technologies, incorporate new technologies, and be a leader in our engineering organization. Job Responsibilities:
Develop the Test infrastructure for the Onboard Flight Program (OFP) software using new and leverageable elements
Work with the OFP software engineering team to automate and maintain testing and to assess the quality and quantity of the software tests
Work with the OFP Software engineering team to develop new SW Testing as needed
Update the OFP software engineering leads as to the state and status of tests and offer support as needed
Assist in product improvement
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Secret Security Clearance (active within the past two years).
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
Extensive background in embedded and/or application software development
Strong C++ experience
Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation principles
Experience with software and systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools
Experience performing software testing, validation, and verification activities
Ability to develop, lead, and motivate small technical teams

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $208890
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
