Position Overview

As an Infrastructure Project Engineer at Hoyle Tanner, you will play a pivotal role in our Northeast Municipal Engineering Services Group. Your contributions will be essential in delivering both conventional refurbishment and innovative decentralized wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in a collaborative team environment focused on the delivery of wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and collection systems.
  • Engage in the study, design, and construction phases of various engineering projects.
  • Prepare detailed calculations, layouts, modeling, estimates, drawings, specifications, and reports while coordinating with regulatory bodies, equipment suppliers, and funding organizations under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D effectively.
  • Mentor and lead junior engineers and CADD professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in plan production, specification development, engineering analysis, and project management, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with a current Professional Engineer (PE) license in NH, VT, or ME, or the ability to obtain a PE license within one year.
  • 4-9 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in multiple software applications including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydro-CAD, ArcView, and MS Office.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a related field with coursework in wastewater treatment, sanitary engineering, or water chemistry.
  • Additional PE licenses or an NCEES record.
