Position Overview:

Becker Wright Consultants is looking for a dedicated Real Estate Property Administrator to provide essential support to the Property Manager in the daily operations of a diverse portfolio of properties. The role primarily involves administrative duties and fostering relationships with tenants and vendors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering vendor proposals and preparing contracts for maintenance, repairs, and Capital Improvement initiatives.
  • Reviewing and coding vendor invoices for accuracy.
  • Processing Job Cost documentation and reclassifying expenses as necessary.
  • Coordinating vendor services, including annual inspections (e.g., fire systems, alarm systems, backflow testing) and managing utility account openings and closures.
  • Overseeing vacancy cleanouts and profiles.
  • Assisting the Property Manager in updating Emergency Response Plans for each property, ensuring current contact details for all relevant parties.
  • Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and managing travel and expense reporting.

Daily Responsibilities:

Engaging with cases logged in the Customer Service platform, issuing work orders to vendors, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Maintaining exemplary communication with tenants through both verbal and written channels is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail commercial real estate.
  • A minimum of two years in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000, with additional consideration for performance bonuses and equity. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including the scope of responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, job-related skills, and market conditions.
