Job Title: Vice President of Business Operations

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Business Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and advancement of our Florida Pediatric and Congenital Cardiovascular Medicine Institute.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to drive growth, innovation, and transformation initiatives for the institute.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the department's clinical, research, and educational goals.
  • Oversee all financial and business functions of the department, including human resources, patient access, inpatient and ambulatory operations, billing, and satisfaction.
  • Lead the development of state-wide strategies and new clinical, research, and translational programs to increase market share, improve patient outcomes, and enhance research and financial results.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Affairs, Finance, Budget, and Planning teams to ensure assumptions related to patient volumes, physician staffing, clinical production, research funding, and capital investments are fully aligned with the Nemours budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a business discipline or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in fiscal management, program development, regulatory, and communications, including operating and capital budget experience within a healthcare organization or other related experience in a complex organization.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in healthcare administration, cardiovascular medicine.
  • Travel required up to 30% of the time.
