Guest Services Associate

Role Overview: The primary responsibility is to ensure complete guest satisfaction, delivering a successful experience throughout their stay. This includes managing check-in and check-out processes and providing essential information and services to meet and exceed guest expectations. All tasks must align with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently check guests in and out of the hotel with professionalism and friendliness.
- Complete all checklist items pertinent to the assigned shift.
- Review and accommodate special requests, assisting with room/suite pre-blocking.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of:
- All hotel offerings, services, and operational hours.
- Food concepts, menus, dress codes, and ambiance of hotel restaurants.
- Day/nightlife concepts, menus, dress codes, and ambiance within the hotel.
- Room types/names, layouts, amenities, and locations.
- Room rates, special packages, and promotional offers.
- Daily arrival and departure lists.
- Scheduled group activities and locations of meeting/banquet rooms.
- Local events, attractions, and holiday schedules.
- Perform various administrative tasks as assigned by senior management.
- One to two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience in VIP services, front desk operations, or hotel environments is desirable.
- Previous experience in a luxury gaming or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and attire at all times.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
- An outgoing personality with keen attention to detail is necessary.
- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Capable of fostering effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership.
- Intermediate to proficient understanding of computer systems such as Opera, GoConcierge, Hotsos, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.
