POSITION SUMMARY

The Valet Parking Booth Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the valet parking operations, ensuring a smooth and organized service for all guests. This position is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, managing vehicle key exchanges, and collaborating with valet staff to deliver outstanding parking experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are essential to this role:

  • Maintain an orderly and professional valet parking booth environment.
  • Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude, making a positive first impression.
  • Oversee the vehicle check-in process, accurately recording necessary details and managing key exchanges.
  • Communicate effectively with valet staff to ensure efficient vehicle flow and prompt retrieval for departing guests.
  • Assist in organizing parking logistics to maximize space and accommodate incoming guests.
  • Collect and process valet parking fees from guests, ensuring secure cash handling.
  • Provide guests with comprehensive information regarding valet services and associated fees.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns related to valet services with professionalism and care, seeking timely resolutions or escalating issues as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment, including ticketing machines and key storage systems, are functioning properly and kept clean.
  • Build positive relationships with guests by being approachable and attentive to their needs throughout the valet process.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as front desk and bell services, to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to meet operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in a guest service role within a luxury hotel or upscale environment is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a polished and professional demeanor.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with valet parking systems and best practices.
  • Understanding of traffic management and valet operations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
