Responsibilities

As trusted advisors within the Apple ecosystem, we collaborate across functions to promote business transformation and facilitate the adoption of Apple platforms. We possess a profound understanding of our clients' business and technical aspirations. Our mission is to eliminate technical obstacles and enhance customer preparedness for our platform. We establish new best practices and disseminate them throughout the organization. Apple prioritizes integrity, honesty, and accountability in all endeavors. The ideal candidate for the Enterprise Systems Engineer role will demonstrate exceptional expertise and engage in various Apple planning, architecture, and support activities, including:
  • Management of software updates and patch distribution.
  • Testing, validation, and change control of hardware lifecycles.
  • Consultation on the design, testing, and implementation of device management policies.
  • Architecture, implementation, and compliance of security systems.
  • Integration with cloud-based Identity Providers (Okta, MSFT Entra, Google).
  • Driving pilots and proof of concepts.
  • Staying informed about emerging technologies, including AI and Machine Learning.
  • Effectively presenting product and technical information to both executive and technical audiences.
Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to articulate the advantages of modern deployment strategies and describe the intricacies of managing the Apple platform in large organizations.
  • Familiarity with leading third-party management vendors and proficiency in demonstrating recommended deployment workflows using MDM and ABM.
  • Understanding of Apple's security and privacy stance, emphasizing built-in security features.
  • Proven experience in advising on technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises or relevant experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering capacity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Ability to anticipate trends necessary for growth within the customer environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 25%-50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience evaluating complex IT enterprise environments (Deployment, Security, SSO, Zero Trust).
  • In-depth knowledge of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, DMVPN, IPSEC, with expertise in large-scale WAN network design.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering role, advising on technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises.
  • Familiarity with Apple's app development tools and their benefits for large organizations, with the ability to guide clients through development options.
  • Experience in Python scripting, Generative AI with Large Language Models, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, government, financial services).
