The ideal candidate for the Enterprise Systems Engineer position will exhibit unparalleled expertise and engage in a range of activities, including:
  • Management of software updates and patch distribution.
  • Testing, validation, and change control for hardware lifecycle.
  • Consultation on the design, testing, and implementation of device management policies.
  • Architecture, implementation, and compliance of security systems.
  • Integration with cloud-based Identity Providers (Okta, MSFT Entra, Google).
  • Leading pilots and proof of concepts.
  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies, including AI and Machine Learning.
  • Delivering presentations that effectively communicate product and technical information to both executive and technical audiences.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in articulating the advantages of modern deployment strategies and managing the Apple platform in large enterprises.
  • Familiarity with leading third-party management vendors and deployment workflows using MDM and ABM.
  • Ability to convey Apple's stance on security and privacy, emphasizing built-in security features.
  • Proven experience in advising on technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises or in a consultative pre-sales engineering capacity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Ability to anticipate trends essential for growth within client environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 25%-50% of the time.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience evaluating complex IT enterprise environments (Deployment, Security, SSO, Zero Trust).
  • In-depth knowledge of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, DMVPN, IPSEC, with expertise in large-scale WAN network design.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering role, advising on technical business transformation.
  • Familiarity with Apple's app development tools and their benefits for large organizations.
  • Experience with Python scripting, Generative AI with Large Language Models, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, government, financial services).
