Our technical sales team serves as the primary point of contact for our largest clients. It is essential for our Enterprise clients to have confidence that their substantial investments in our technology will yield the expected results. We are dedicated to instilling this confidence by addressing both technical and business challenges to ensure mutual success for Apple and our clients. Our mission is to provide technical sales expertise aimed at revolutionizing the way organizations operate.

Key Responsibilities

As trusted advisors within the Apple ecosystem, we collaborate across functions to facilitate business transformation and promote the adoption of Apple platforms. We possess a deep understanding of our clients' business and technical goals, enabling us to eliminate technical obstacles and enhance readiness for our solutions. We develop and disseminate new best practices, ensuring that Apple maintains its commitment to quality in both products and business dealings.

The ideal candidate for the Enterprise Systems Engineer role will bring exceptional expertise and engage in a range of activities, including:
  • Management of software updates and patch distribution.
  • Testing, validation, and change control of hardware lifecycles.
  • Consultation on the design, testing, and implementation of device management policies.
  • Architecture, implementation, and compliance of security systems.
  • Integration with cloud-based Identity Providers (e.g., Okta, MSFT Entra, Google).
  • Driving pilots and proof of concepts.
  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies, including AI and Machine Learning.
  • Effectively presenting product and technical information to both executive and technical audiences.
Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in articulating the advantages of modern deployment strategies and managing the Apple platform in large organizations.
  • Familiarity with leading third-party management vendors and the ability to demonstrate effective deployment workflows.
  • Ability to communicate Apple's stance on security and privacy, emphasizing built-in security features.
  • Proven experience in advising on technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Adept at identifying trends that will drive growth within client environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 25%-50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience evaluating complex IT enterprise environments (Deployment, Security, SSO, Zero Trust).
  • In-depth knowledge of network services and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, DMVPN, and IPSEC.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering role.
  • Familiarity with Apple's App development tools and their benefits for large organizations.
  • Experience with Python scripting, Generative AI, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, government, or financial services.
