Your contributions are vital. Every position influences our patients' experiences, and you have the chance to make a significant impact. We are seeking a committed Certified Surgery Technologist to enhance our team.

Role Summary and Qualifications

As a Surgical Technologist, your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining the operating room environment, as well as ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of surgical instruments. You will work within a sterile field and assist the surgeon by providing necessary instruments during procedures. You will also care for patients before, during, and after surgical interventions.

  • Provide patient care within the operational scope of a surgical technician under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for each surgical procedure.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for surgical patients.
  • Manage intra-operative tasks and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
  • Assist the circulating nurse in ensuring accurate instrument counts.
  • Oversee supply and equipment management, ensuring availability and proper sterilization.

Qualifications Required:

Experience

  • Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per healthcare policy.
  • Surgical Technologists graduating after a specified date must obtain and maintain current certification within a designated timeframe.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
