Position Summary:
The Chief Radiologic Technologist will manage and guide technical personnel, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality patient care, and adherence to established protocols. Key responsibilities include overseeing workflow, executing departmental tasks, and guaranteeing superior diagnostic imaging quality.
- Supervise and direct Technologists and support staff.
- Organize departmental workflow and set task priorities.
- Generate diagnostic quality images for patients of all ages.
- Administer contrast media in compliance with protocols.
- Adhere to safety standards and provide comprehensive support in all responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in acute-care settings as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications Required:
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist and TMB Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
