This full-time role at True Oil LLC is dedicated to overseeing accounting functions that encompass various financial processes, including the monthly and annual closing activities, as well as the generation of financial reports.

The individual in this position will also be tasked with directly managing team members, which includes identifying training requirements and evaluating their work output.

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete each key responsibility, with or without reasonable adjustments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inputting data into financial systems.
  • Preparing and auditing journal entries.
  • Conducting account reconciliations.
  • Validating information against system-generated reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with established controls and procedures.
  • Confirming that all entries are properly documented, in accordance with protocols.
  • Collaborating with operations, vendors, and customers to resolve issues.
  • Managing accounts receivable and/or accounts payable tasks, as assigned.
  • Preparing and reviewing sales tax documentation.
  • Participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including the preparation of 1099 forms.
  • Generating financial statements.
  • Supervising and guiding the work of team members.
  • Providing coaching and conducting performance evaluations for direct reports.


Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, along with two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least two (2) years of supervisory experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is essential, along with the ability to quickly learn various internal software applications. Skills in 10-key data entry, computer keyboarding, and operation of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and scanners are necessary. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Candidates must also pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screening.
