Role Summary:

We are seeking a Strategic Sales Manager to drive growth in the Miami, FL market and its surroundings.

In this role, you will be tasked with generating sales opportunities within a specified territory for Allsteel, Inc., aiming to support and maximize sustainable growth. Your focus will be on developing, planning, and executing sales and marketing strategies targeted at mid to large commercial end users in the region, with a strong emphasis on the architecture and design (A&D) and commercial real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients through various direct methods such as phone calls and in-person meetings, as well as indirect methods including networking with industry contacts and trade organizations.
  • Research, qualify, and cultivate sales leads for new business opportunities. Manage the entire sales process from initial engagement to successful closure.
  • Monitor and create awareness of commercial business movements (lease expirations, construction permits, etc.) within the designated area.
  • Participate in key industry-related organizations, events, and networking groups to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, dealer partners, and mid to large commercial end users, ensuring ongoing collaboration.
  • Develop and lead strategic initiatives with key influencers (A&D, Real Estate, General Contractors, Commercial Real Estate, etc.) and Dealer Sales Representatives on projects, accurately diagnosing customer needs and creating impactful plans to secure sales.
  • Communicate Allsteel's value proposition effectively, tailoring messages to suit different audiences and buying models.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a consultative sales environment is essential.
  • Established connections and a strong network within the Real Estate community in the assigned territory.
  • Experience in the furniture or related industry (interiors) is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Extensive experience in sales (interiors) with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Understanding of office environment challenges and general business trends.
  • Ability to identify and positively influence key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, along with excellent organizational and customer support orientation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across various business functions, from Allsteel headquarters to field sales teams and independent dealers.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead change and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
