ROLE SUMMARY

In the capacity of Deputy Chief of Staff, you will collaborate closely with the CEO, managing various cross-functional initiatives while facilitating daily operations for the executive leadership. Your responsibilities will encompass special projects, interdepartmental communication, and the alignment of business unit objectives and strategies. This role demands versatility, as you will engage with the Chief of Staff and the CEO on diverse operational aspects, including Finance and Product management. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional organizational skills, and a results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee critical operational processes, including leadership meetings and strategic reviews, ensuring effective preparation and follow-up.
  • Develop briefing documents in partnership with stakeholders to equip the CEO for meetings and track action items.
  • Monitor and report on company and departmental objectives and key results (OKRs).
  • Serve as a liaison across functions for the CEO.
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership, identifying risks and opportunities to enhance product offerings and internal operations.
  • Manage special projects on behalf of the CEO.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and CEO to establish business priorities and drive key initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and operational frameworks.
  • Facilitate planning processes at various intervals for the organization.
  • Conduct analyses and provide insights to support effective decision-making.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • We welcome candidates with 2-5 years of experience in strategic, analytical, and operational roles, such as:
    • Consulting or investment banking analysts from reputable firms
    • Business development or operations professionals in leading tech companies
    • Military officers with proven leadership capabilities
    • Executive assistants or advisors to senior leaders
    • Legislative aides or press secretaries
  • Proven track record in leading projects and establishing credibility with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at distilling complex information into clear insights.
  • Driven and entrepreneurial, with a history of high productivity.
  • Ambition to grow into a leadership role within the organization.
  • Results-oriented with a willingness to engage actively in tasks beyond standard hours.
  • Quick learner capable of maintaining high standards in a dynamic environment.
