ROLE SUMMARY

As the Strategic Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with the CEO, overseeing a variety of cross-functional initiatives while ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions. Your responsibilities will encompass special projects, interdepartmental communication, and the alignment of business objectives and strategies. This role demands versatility, as you will partner with the Chief of Staff and the CEO, engaging in diverse areas such as Operations, Finance, and Product Development. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional, equipped with strong organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage essential operational workflows, including leadership meetings and strategic reviews, ensuring effective documentation and follow-up on action items.
  • Develop briefing documents in collaboration with various stakeholders to prepare the CEO for critical engagements.
  • Monitor and report on company and departmental objectives and key results (OKRs).
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other departments.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business unit leaders, identifying potential risks and opportunities for operational enhancement.
  • Lead special projects on behalf of the CEO.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and CEO to establish business priorities and drive the execution of key initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and operational frameworks.
  • Facilitate planning processes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Conduct analyses and provide insights to support effective decision-making.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • We welcome candidates with 2-5 years of experience in strategic, analytical, and operational roles, such as:
    • Consulting or investment banking analyst
    • Business operations in a technology firm
    • Military officer with leadership experience
    • Executive assistant or advisor
    • Legislative aide or communications officer
  • Proven track record of leading projects and establishing credibility with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Driven and entrepreneurial, with a history of high performance.
  • Ambition to grow into a leadership role within the organization.
  • Results-oriented, with a readiness to engage in hands-on work beyond standard hours.
  • Quick learner capable of maintaining high standards in a dynamic environment.
