About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Program Manager to join our team at American Express Global Business Travel. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and execution of our travel program and related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Travel Operations and Customer Management Support within the client environment.
  • Manage traveler critical issues and travel program inquiries across the end-to-end travel program.
  • Drive the client's travel program, including organizational change, employee education on travel policy content, and communications on travel-related activities.
  • Support travel program onboarding and training activities related to new employees and supports the implementation of any new travel tools and processes within traveler operations.
  • Collaborate with client TMC to monitor agency performance targets including customer service level agreements (SLA).
  • Share standard processes on proven online usage strategies, communications, and benchmark metrics, and provide ongoing online educational support to travelers/bookers.
  • Proactively review and deliver travel reporting, research, analyze and report on travel work streams while monitoring policy compliance and understanding trends in traveler behavior – making data-based recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate and lead communications, progress, consistencies, and standard processes in performing tactical/operational travel management activities.
  • Provide ongoing updates on reported issues as needed to ensure understanding and timely completion.
  • Use analytical and creative approaches to condense large amounts of information into a clear, concise, effective format.
Requirements
  • Min 5 years in-depth experience in business travel; experience in card/payment solutions a plus.
  • Skilled in client/customer management, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven expertise in providing solutions to drive improvement in customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent customer service skills as well as oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage a network of contacts.
  • Understanding of travel data and overall travel-related processes with the ability to analyze spend and trends.
  • Excellent technical skills on travel-related technology such as online booking systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, commitment to quality, adaptability, organizational change, self-motivation, and teamwork skills required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates personal excellence by showing personal determination and resilience and is optimistic in changing circumstances.
  • Previous experience working in a global environment is a plus.
