As a Pipeline and Terminal Operations Specialist, your role encompasses:

Managing valves and manifolds for the offloading of vessels while ensuring compliance with established protocols as mandated by the organization and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are critical to the role, in addition to those outlined previously. Various tasks may be conducted under diverse weather and environmental conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, and exposure to aircraft-related emissions.

  • Manage valves and manifolds for the offloading of vessels, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory procedures.
  • Oversee valves and manifolds for product intake from suppliers via pipeline tankers or barge deliveries.
  • Conduct training for personnel.
  • Maintain operational reports and records for the department.
  • Engage in emergency response drills.
  • Conduct fuel quality control assessments.
  • Perform janitorial and grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to the attendance and punctuality policies of the station.
Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to successfully pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug screenings, and maintain eligibility for an airport security badge, as well as be insurable under the company's insurance policies.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past three years, along with any required FAA Airport identification or authorizations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational experience; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English, along with basic mathematical skills, particularly in understanding measurements for reporting fuel storage and consumption levels.
  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs as needed.

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.22 to $28.50 per hour, influenced by various factors such as skill sets, education, shift patterns, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel requirements.
