As a Pipeline and Terminal Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Managing valves and manifolds for the off-loading of vessels while ensuring compliance with established protocols mandated by the organization and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are integral to the role, alongside those previously mentioned. Certain tasks may be executed under varying weather and environmental conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, and exposure to noise and fumes. Responsibilities will be carried out both indoors and outdoors, in proximity to stationary and moving aircraft.

  • Manage valves and manifolds for the off-loading of vessels, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory procedures.
  • Oversee valves and manifolds for product intake from suppliers via pipeline tankers or barge deliveries.
  • Conduct training for personnel.
  • Maintain operational reports and records for the department.
  • Engage in emergency response drills.
  • Perform fuel quality control assessments.
  • Carry out janitorial and ground maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to the station's attendance and punctuality policies.
Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to successfully complete background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug screenings, and maintain eligibility for an airport security badge, along with being insurable under the company's insurance policies.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past three years, along with any required airport identification or authorizations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational experience; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English and capable of performing basic mathematical calculations, particularly in understanding measurements for fuel storage and consumption levels.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs on occasion.

Compensation varies based on several factors, including skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $21.22 to $28.50.
