Position Overview

This role offers a competitive earning potential ranging from $75,000 to over $100,000, with top performers exceeding $200,000.

The Local Engagement Marketing Specialist acts as a representative for Wyndham Destinations, collaborating with popular local attractions such as shopping centers and amusement parks. This position involves attending various events, including trade shows, festivals, and conferences, to engage with the public and promote our brand.

In this sales-oriented position, you will engage in direct conversations with potential customers, sharing insights about the vacation club experience and encouraging them to participate in our award-winning presentations.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a professional and enthusiastic brand representative for Wyndham Destinations.
- Welcome and incentivize potential customers to join a sales-preview tour.
- Assess and qualify potential customers in line with company standards.
- Schedule sales-tour appointments and manage necessary deposits.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Presenting and encouraging prospective customers to attend a sales presentation while adhering to company policies and performance standards (80% of your time).

- Participating in all scheduled training sessions and team meetings, staying updated on marketing materials and industry trends, and regularly reviewing performance goals (20%).


Travel Requirements
No travel outside of the designated area is required.

Qualifications
- Preferred experience in sales and/or marketing, though not mandatory. Production standards must be maintained.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and general computer and smart device usage.

Experience
- 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
- Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of educational requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

During the training phase, the hourly wage is set at $14.00, supplemented by commissions and bonuses. Post-training, compensation will align with the state's minimum wage, along with commissions and bonuses.
