About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Brand Director to lead our global brand management and transformation efforts. As a key member of our marketing leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our company's purpose and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Brand Strategy: Create and execute a global brand strategy that brings together all products and solutions under one Masterbrand, aligned to our company's purpose and vision.
  • Lead Global Brand Management Team: Build and lead a high-performing team of brand experts who consistently demonstrate exceptional performance, responsible for leading one of the world's most recognizable and valuable travel brands across US and International Markets.
  • Brand Governance and Licensing: Lead all aspects of our brand licensing and relationship with American Express, including brand governance and ownership of relationships with the General Counsel's Office and Compliance.
  • Creative Operations and Agency Management: Responsible for creative operations and agency management, working closely with key marketing leaders, Procurement and Finance to improve and grow third-party relationships.
  • Brand and Marketing Transformation: Accountable for brand and marketing transformation programs and strategic project management, including mergers, acquisitions, and evolving brand strategy.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop innovative ways across all platforms, collaborating closely with agency partners. Contribute significantly to creative leadership within the marketing team as a whole.
  • Brand Evaluation and Strategy: Develop a strong test and learn approach to improve brand evaluation and revamp our strategy, while crafting plans for future growth and increased brand investment.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Play an active role in the leadership of the Global Brand & Marketing Communications team. Lead a team of leaders and their teams to deliver successful brand management, transformation, growth, and governance, aligned to the brand strategy.
Requirements
  • Senior B2B Brand Experience: 10+ years of senior B2B brand experience working with high-profile global brands.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong people leadership skills, able to lead and operate effectively through periods of significant change.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues of every level, open-minded, excited to try new tactics, and perseverance to see projects to completion.
  • International Experience: International experience and working with remote teams and time zones is a plus.
  • Strong Creative and Media Agency Management Skills: Strong creative and media agency management skills, proven experience of delivering results in highly commercial environments.
